Partnership Announcement: Flat6Labs and Five One Labs Uniting to Drive a Wave of Impact in Iraq

In recognition of the benefits to be gained through a partnership that promotes entrepreneurship, business development, and empowerment of young leaders from all communities in Iraq, Five One Labs and Flat6Labs agree to support entrepreneurship and innovation in the country jointly.
Iraq has a growing entrepreneurial ecosystem with numerous innovative ideas coming to fruition from the young population across the country. The rise of entrepreneurship and innovative solutions requires tremendous support from all regional and international actors in the startup scene to open the doors that lead to a healthy, growing, and stable ecosystem.
This partnership aims at empowering young innovators to gain the skills, resilience, and support to launch their businesses. The agreement is based on the overlapping priorities of Five One Labs and Flat6Labs’s StartMashreq program, and other Flat6Labs programs.
The cooperation will cover different areas of support, such as entrepreneurship workshops, public and semi-private events and gatherings focused on entrepreneurship, and other educational courses, guest lectures, or workshops that the two parties will co-organize to support the Iraqi entrepreneurship community. The two parties will co-implement up to ten StartMashreq events all around Iraq, among other activities and support for the ecosystem.
