Partnership Announcement: Five One Labs and The American University of Kurdistan

Since the beginning of our operations in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Five One Labs has supported young entrepreneurs to take charge of starting new businesses and develop ideas into startups constantly and from early on, Duhoki youth has been an active part of our programs and cohorts and some of them are actively running their startups now.

In a step to further support the entrepreneurial community in the city and to provide better access to our programs in Duhok, we are proud to announce a partnership with the American University of Kurdistan to run a long-term program and a series of events and activities that would support the youth of the city get a better understanding of starting and running their businesses.

In our partnership, AUK will host our organization to run a Campus Incubator within their Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab and our team will be conducting innovative and interactive training on design thinking, market research, financial model, business management, and entrepreneurship for the students and the community in Duhok. The program will run for one year starting in May 2022.

We at Five One Labs believe that providing access to a quality curriculum and the necessary steps of developing a business idea into a feasible and working startup is necessary to facilitate the process for young entrepreneurs in the country to push the economy and make it possible to change ideas into a reality.
