The Creativity forum: Kurdistan’s First Participation in World Creativity and Innovation Week

On March 14th, 2023, the Iraq Creativity Board as a part of World Creativity & Innovation Week, a worldwide movement dedicated to celebrating and promoting creativity, ran the Creativity Forum.

This year, for the first time, Iraq had its own Creativity Ambassadors and Creativity Board to run The Creativity Forum, which focused on the important role of creativity and innovation in vital industries and creating a bridge between its different stakeholders. The aim of this forum is to discuss measures that will lead to the development of society by encouraging creativity and innovation.

The forum included a panel discussion titled “A Society Thinks and Acts With Creativity” as well as an exhibition with the participation of 18 entrepreneurs and artists that showcased their products and services.

The forum was an opportunity for entrepreneurs to meet the different players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, showcase their startups and the gaps they fill as well as providing an insight to obstacles in their way.
