Startup Spotlight: 3D Print

My name is Hayder. I am 39 years old, a civil engineer, and the founder and CEO of 3D Print Iraq, where our specialty is 3D printers, materials, and after-sales services.

As everything starts small and then grows up, I got my first 3D printer about three years ago, and back then, it was a challenge to get it in Iraq since there was no market for it. Paying double the cost-plus waiting for two long months to get it was frustrating, and that was what sparked the idea of my business, "3D Print Iraq", so anyone enthusiastic like me would not go through all the troubles that I went through. I just wanted to make it available for everyone at affordable costs, the same as amazon prices or sometimes even cheaper.

3D printing can be a hobby, business, or educational and the limit is your imagination only. Are you missing that plastic part of your old vacuum cleaner, and you can not find it in the market anymore? You feel sorry to throw such a good machine due to a small part failing and want to have a clear conscience for a better environment, then design it and print it. Simple as that.

Building a successful business in Iraq requires you to make sure you create a loyal customer base. And to do that, you will need to provide competitive prices, a variety of materials and services, and best of it all, after-sales services like equipment's guarantees, "How To" crash course, and providing support all the way to make your customer journey a unique experience.
