Startup Spotlight: IOT Kids

IoT Kids is an educational program aimed at teaching children how to use technology in a responsible and safe manner. The program offers courses in coding, robotics, electronics, and 3D modeling. The idea for IoT Kids was developed in response to the increasing importance of technology in our daily lives and the need to educate young people on how to use it in a productive and responsible way.

The motivation behind IoT Kids is to equip young people with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. The goal of the business is to provide a comprehensive education in technology and its various applications and to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Five One Labs’ Growth Funding Project in 2021 helped Ali renovate IOT’s maker space and develop their e-learning platform.

“After I participated in Five One Labs’ program,  which provided me with valuable resources, training, and support in starting my business. The program helped me refine my business plan, develop my marketing strategy, and connect with potential partners and investors.

“Starting a business is never easy, and the first year of IoT Kids was no exception. There were ups and downs along the way, including challenges in securing funding, marketing the program, and managing the day-to-day operations. However, despite these challenges, I was able to overcome them and establish a successful business that is making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

“Starting IoT Kids has been a transformative experience that has changed my life in countless ways. I have gained valuable experience in entrepreneurship, learned to manage a team, and developed important relationships with partners, investors, and customers.”
